A Reflection about the Guidance Services

As to what the objectives of  the Guidance Services mention, the main goal of these services is to be functional and productive for the benefit of the people who need such services; services that help them work out for their issues within themselves and as well help them develop a personal growth. The people these services serve are the students, faculty members, employees of the institution or the academe and also the parents of the students.

Counseling Services "heart and soul of the guidance program''

Without the counseling services, there are no assistance for the students to gain their deeper self-understanding and awareness of about their problems. Also, these help the students on how to apply the effective use of the decision process by formulating alternatives and projecting consequences of each that allow students to review critically what has taken place and makes provision for future meetings if they are needed.

As a student, I can say that all of the guidance services are beneficial to anyone who needs these because I myself experience these so-called benefits. They are made as a set of tools (may these be guidance services, testing services, student inventory record, training/seminar/forum, placement and career services, research services, career and life planning. freshmen enhancement program, orientation and information, referral, linkages, extension services and peer counseling) that can give awareness to our unrevealed traits.
